SAAK Awarded Innovative Grain Monitoring Contract
SAAK Engineering is very pleased to have been awarded a prestigious grain monitoring contract with one of the UK s leading maltsters, Crisp Malt.
Crisp Malt, established in 1870, have a long tradition of expertise in the Malting industry, where modern techniques are combined with traditional expertise to produce the very Finest Malt. Crisp Malt's long established site at Ditchingham will benefit from the latest iGrain technology in grain temperature and atmosphere monitoring.
The project will see installation of the equipment into 50% of the largest silos on site prior to harvest 2025. Crisp Malt stated “The I-Grain monitoring system will allow us to reliably monitor and control the conditions our grain is stored in. It is an excellent step forward in our quality control procedure.”
